We booked one week Sharm el Sheikh and furtunately decided to go on a Sinai Safari instead of staying in the hotel and go diving with the daily boats.


Sharm el Sheikh really became a huge dive factory and it looks a bit scary to see all the boats in the harbour every morning.

But with our boat and our early bird captain we were often the first boat on a reef and it was really nice and relaxing.

At the beginning of the trip we had some problems with the Egyptian bureaucracy, but after some hours in the harbour we could leave.

Our tour took us first to the Ras Mohammed National Park. Here we spent two days at different reefs for day and night dives.

At the first night dive Manu & me went alone and we loved it to explore the sea by ourself.



Then we continued to the wreck of the Thistlegorm. I think it was really special that we were again the one and only boat at the wreck in the early mornig.

So we were able to have the first dive just for us and this gave me the chance to take pictures of this beautiful wreck without many divers around.

By the way: On the right side you see my favorite picture from the whole trip.

When we left the Thistlegorm there were at least 10 Boats.

We returned to Ras Mohammed to have some more dives there.



On the evening before our last day we went to Tiran to stay over night. We had a very nice nightdive with a lot of marine life to watch.


But the main reason to stay there over night was to be the first boat in the Morning at the Jackson reef to see the Hammerheads.

So we started our dive around 6am and as you can see on the left side we had success.

It was a great feeling and I really appreciate the decision of the Hammerheads to take a closer look at our group.


We had a lot of fun with the other people on the boat from Israel, USA, Germany and of course with our staff.
